What is the Process Like?
After scans and X-rays are evaluated, upper and lower dental impressions are taken. Before the
procedure you will be given “conscious sedation”
so you will experience no discomfort whatsoever. Next, Dr. Ignatowicz will “anchor” your new arch of teeth by placing 6 or 8 titanium rods in your jaw
(depending on how much support your arch will need). Then, your new (provisional) teeth are
mounted on what dentists call an abutment.
Your implants will heal with your bone and once they are fused completely, they become like the new root for your permanent teeth. Your smile will be strong, natural feeling and looking.
