Teeth In A Day
Now, in just one day, we can bring your smile out of hiding. Dental implant technology is constantly changing and improving, which helps to make this popular restoration option more accessible to patients.
Our professionals at Joshua M. Ignatowicz DMD & Associates strive to stay apprised of these advancements so that we can offer you the right restoration option for your needs. One such treatment that we use to accomplish this goal is the All-on-4® Treatment Concept.
What is Teeth in a Day?
Teeth in a Day is a permanent dental implants solution to teeth that are missing, damaged, decayed, or maloccluded (crooked or misaligned) brought to you by the Henderson dental offices of Joshua Ignatowicz. It is the next best thing to your natural teeth (or to the perfect set you wish you had!) You will care for your new teeth as you would your natural teeth, and enjoy your beautiful new smile for a lifetime.
Is Teeth in a Day for me?
Teeth in a Day involves a careful, individualized assessment of your oral and general health by Henderson dentist Dr. Ignatowicz, including panoramic x-rays and a CT scan of the bones in your jaw. After a thorough evaluation of your condition, the doctor will detail your treatment options.

What is the process like?
After scans and x-rays are evaluated, upper and lower dental impressions are taken at our Henderson office. Before the procedure, you will be given "conscious sedation" so you will experience no discomfort whatsoever. Next, Dr. Ignatowicz will "anchor" your new arch of teeth by placing 6 or 8 titanium rods in your jaw (depending on how much support your arch will need). Then, your new (provisional) teeth are mounted on what dentists call an abutment. Your implants will heal with your bone and once they are fused completely, they become like the new root for your permanent teeth. Your smile will be strong, natural feeling and looking.
What Are All on 4 Dental Implants?
The All-on-4 Treatment Concept involves the installation of four large implant posts into your jawbone, as opposed to the placement of multiple posts throughout your jaw. One of these posts is installed in each quadrant of your jawbone, with two being placed on your lower jaw and two on your upper jaw.
If receiving dental implants using this method, your dental implants would also be divided into four large sections that each holds multiple crowns. The weight of the larger groupings of teeth is why larger posts are required. The four symmetrical sets of crowns will interlock perfectly to provide you with a natural-looking smile.
How Does the All-on-4 Treatment Concept Benefit Me?
The All-on-4 Treatment concept provides several benefits to you. One of the most immediate benefits is that implants installed with this method typically have a much faster recovery time. This is because our professionals are only installing four titanium posts, which means significantly less trauma is caused to your oral cavity.
In addition, this treatment method reduces the likelihood that you will need a bone graft. A high percentage of bone grafts that are used as a preparatory surgery for dental implants is focused on the upper rear jawbone because that is the area of your jawbone that is generally the thinnest. By only using four posts, our team is able to avoid this thin area altogether.
Can You Fix Teeth In One Day?
The All-on-4 implant style also means that patients can receive their final set of implants on the same day that their posts are installed. After our team places the posts into your jawbone, they simply snap each set of teeth onto the respective post. Our team will make minor adjustments to the fit of your crowns to ensure that they are comfortable and function properly.
Dental implants installed with this method provide you with excellent bite strength, which can allow you to enjoy the foods you love. The secure fit of this style of implants will also help you to more clearly communicate. You can rest assured knowing that your implants are secure and durable.
Does the All-on-4 Treatment Last Longer?
Dental implants that are installed using the All-on-4 Treatment Concept will result in an extremely long-lasting restoration. Your posts will never need to be replaced. However, the crowns themselves will last about as long as other dental implants, which means that you can expect 10 to 20 years out of them with proper care.
